Next Steps

Now that the planning application has been submitted to Tower Hamlets, they will be undertaking a statutory consultation on the plans.

In the meantime we are keen to continue to engage with our neighbours and the interested parties and would welcome any further comments you may have on our plans by filling out the comment form.

Indicative project timeline of key dates

Construction Management

We anticipate a decision to be made on the planning application in Spring 2017. Providing we are successful with our application, we will seek to begin work on site immediately after securing permission. with demolition works to begin shortly afterwards in Summer.

Prior to any works being undertaken a Construction Management Plan will be agreed with the Local Authority which will determine working hours, construction traffic routes, noise mitigation amongst other issues. We will also notify all immediate neighbours of the process at the appropriate time  and continue communicating with you.

Our intention is to appoint a contractor, at the appropriate time,  that is part of the Considerate Contractor Scheme. Being part of this scheme, the contractor will have to adhere to the Code of Considerate Practice. As part of this Code, they are obliged to “Respect the Community”. Every effort will be undertaken to ensure any construction works has minimal impact on existing residents.
